I saw them in concert in a student club in krakow just before lockdown. A great night.

TOTP from Christmas ‘89 on BBC4.

Mike & The Mechanics on now. Paul Carrack has some voice.
Gene Pitney & Marc Almond. This is great stuff.
Look at the shite pumped out today in comparison.

Brilliant record. One of my top 10 from the 80’s.

Stunning from start to finish. Their whole catalogue is superb, Swoon maybe the best if you are in the mood for it.

I think Steve McQueen is better.

Agree but Swoon is an incredible debut album, before they went “commercial” as they say.
I’m full of whiskey here and it’s only 5.30. I’m blaming you for sending me down this 80s rabbithole.

i haven’t listened to Swoon in donkey’s years. I just drained the Jameson Triple here

some serious 80s slap bass going on here

Spandau Ballet - To Cut a Long Story Short.

BBC 1 now @balbec

PSB

Yeah. Pity about the rest of the show

I saw that live at Feile back in the day.

Young @Thomas_Brady was nearby with his family and asked them why Bruce was playing a cover of Tupac.

Eddie Money-take me home tonight
