Friend of the Forum: Big Mick McCarthy

Mick, just like his father figure Big Jack before him, has been found out. Now it’s his backside in the bacon slicer

I wonder will Mick be in line for the Barcelona job when Koeman gets the bullet?

Big Mick McCarthy’s Cardiff City struggling here against rivals Swansea City.

3-0 down. Second worst defence in the league after newly promoted Peterborough. He’ll be gone by Tuesday.

Chippy shredded Clough after that.

2 Sackings in a year for Mick. Playing 5 centre halfs was never going to work.

The lucky bastard

Any updated stats on Mick’s tenure with Cardiff?

14 wins, 11 draws and 11 losses so far as Cardiff manager.

It was 14 wins 11 draws and 5 losses six games ago.

It’s even worse when you consider he won something like 7 of his first 10 games in charge …

Et tu Barnsley :see_no_evil:

McCarthy about to be sacked for second time in 10 months and Forest flying since Hughton got sacked. If Kenny gets sacked we have to look past these 2 dinosaurs.

Mick 2-0 down with five minutes left at home to Middlesbrough. The end is nigh

Sacked for the second time in 10 months but the man to bring Ireland forward according to some on here. Strangely not a peep from them lately.

Is he gone?

The guardian had a decent piece on mick yesterday. Cardiff are back to where they were before he took over. Losing five key players from last years run and replacing them with free transfers meant it was always likely to end this way. Mick isn’t a miracle worker
