Im going to go against the grain a bit here. Personally, I could not care less what people wear to a funeral, doubt it matters to the deceased or to close family members.
I also dislike the traditional irish funeral. Tbh, I would only want to see immediate family and close friends. Each to their own though.

An associate of @Mac turned up hammered at my motherās funeral. He was wearing a suit but looked like heād slept in a bush the night before. I havenāt forgotten it on either count.
