My condolences @Fagan_ODowd
Мені дуже шкода вашої втрати.
У моїй родині ми завжди ночували, сидячи з труною. Я думав, що це нормально. Це може бути приємно. Я зустрів людей тут, в Україні, які хотіли б мати таку можливість.
Be the hokey.
a sight for sore eyes
The father in law died in a hospice in the early hours of the morning and the hands were slightly raised in a position when he died and weren’t put down and folded on time before rigour mortise set in. Sure later in the day, around lunchtime when the boys came in the ambulance to take him away they had some job to get the hands down so they could get him in the body bag, the whole family looking at this going on and the sweat running off the poor bastards forehead. Even in the coffin a few days later the hands were still gnarled up, the undertaker’s couldn’t even straighten them out. I chuckle at it now but at the time it was fierce upsetting for herself.
I’m sure you’ve googled a few stories for us.
God speed you young warrior.

Can you pull out a spreadsheet of posters who have seen his post, and chose not to like it?
I think we need to take some action here.
We don’t have a notion what he is trying to say.
"I am very sorry for your loss.
In my family, we always spent the night sitting with a coffin. I thought it was normal. It can be nice. I met people here in Ukraine who would like to have this opportunity."
How would ye phrase a text offering condolences? Father in law of a friend. I didn’t know the man.
Sorry to hear about your father in law
Give him a buzz if he’s good friend.
Offer sympathies and ask how he/partner are doing and if they need anything
It’s the daughter of the deceased I’m goin to text
That’s good advice. I just wanna text her something though, I’ll give him a shout during the week
Really sorry to hear about your Dad. May he rest in peace. Look after yourself.
Bring up a lasagne to the house.
