Like many others, he left for London in the 1950s, but returned home in 1978. He was one of eight siblings, and five of them spent time living in London. Although he came back, the others spent the remainder of their lives there. Now, only two siblings remain , one in London and one in Kilkenny.
It was a weekend of stories, seeing cousins from all over and lots of laughs despite the sadness.
