Gallagher told another victim that the “pipe” would be soft and moist.’
I’d know this fella. He got off because the vigilante group caught him. From what I’m reading here is the judge basically struck it out and felt sorry for him because it was trial by social media and it was a vigilante group, not Police that caught him. But yet he thought it was a 12 year old he was meeting? Is the judge on drugs or what?

I can only think there is something more sinister at play than an addled mind.
I said the judge is on drugs for not sending him down. Phelim thought he was meeting a 12 year old.

I’ve definitely read about another case, if not 2 or 3, where the judge in sentencing was similarly more bothered/disturbed by the vigilantes doing the duping than yer man being a pedo. Very strange & misplaced to focus more opprobrium on them.
Like I get it, gaol’s are pretty much full they’re saying. But fucking hell, this is a mental problem.
Maybe the judge is a paedo,he’s very sympathetic towards him.
