Galway have beaten Limerick every time they played them this season. Limerick blessed to have avoided them in the championship, and deep down they know it.

I’m referring to this season clearly, though last year Limerick were indeed very fortunate to have the rub of the green and the referee in scraping over the line against a Galway team shorn of their two best players.
Two of that Cork fullback line and two of that Cork halfback line nominated. Jaysus.

Talk of Dan Morrissey not getting one. FFS 
Nicky Quaid is a far superior all round keeper to Eoin Murphy. His distribution and puckouts in particular is miles ahead. Murphy makes a few excellent saves every year (Quaid does too, just a few less) and it’s enough for the media buy in. That’s where they’ll pigeon hole in 1 Kilkenny All Star. So we’re down to 14 only now, which is a disgraceful number already.

Harnedy should be the one Cork player in consideration to get one, and even then it’s a borderline decision.
