Do you watch hurling? He was the reason Kilkenny beat Waterford
he was not…that’s just mount sion bitterness coming out
Did you see the ball he tried to clear across his own goal, or the countless hopeless solo runs.
sure he was doing it on his own Fagan…
At least Richie Mc will get some use out of the suit
Yeah and he put manners on Podge Collins as well in the all ireland final replay.Anyway Shane O’Neill was the best full back in the country this year and it was the fact that we were so open out the field that caused the full back line to be taken to the cleaners in the all ireland final replay.Conor O’Sullivan is also very unlucky but they were always going to throw a token all star Limericks way.I think there’s better players on that Limerick team than Richie McCarthy.I also think Lorchan McLoughlin is very unlucky. He had a great league and great games against Kilkenny and Dublin.
I suppose Cork made a better fist of things against Clare than Limerick did anyway! I think Fagan O’Dowds comments about Kevin Moran are bang out of order. If we had a warrior like him in our half back line then we’d be all ireland champions now!
Did he not score 3 points in the last 5 minutes to take it to extra time?
No - just the two points.
Two crackers they were too. To say he is the reason Waterford lost to Kilkenny is stupid and you’re better than that Fagan.
Kevin Moran’s a great player. Could see him making Clare’s first 30 with ease.
Maybe, if he cut out the stupid clearances.
Could you not see him doing a job as one of the two sweepers behind the full back line?
No.
Moran is a leader. He may have flaws but he’s capable of feats that are beyond most players.
He hardly deserved an All Star all the same, for throwing over a few points against a dud Kilkenny team.
He was very good against Clare as well in fairness to him.
Maybe not. The bar was particularly high for All Stars this year.
A dud Kilkenny team that were still too good for Waterford all the same!
Yes that’s why Scully Ryan had to walk. We don’t tolerate failure in Waterford.
