Colm Boyle is a joke of a selection though. There were standout options than Mattie Donnelly too for a midfield spot, IMO.

The Clare chap possibly but it would have been closed.
Dean Rock is lucky enough but it could have gone to about five different players for that slot and there would have been little outcry.

Lateral was obviously going to be selected given he was included in the list for POTY but it still baffles me how he’s there.
Andy Moran should have been selected. Durcan or even McLoughlin would have been more worthy recipients than Boyle.
Nice to see McHugh selected as I expected him to lose out.
Rock deserves his selection.
