But the skill in which he exercises in the delivery as well is just unheard of.

His kick out in the replay where he dropped it into Connolly’s arms on the run was majestic. As was Connolly’s arrow like ball to Kilkenny. As was Kilkenny’s control and technique to slot it over.

No way was Connolly aiming for Kilkenny.

Also the ball hits midfield and McCarthy should probably do a better job of claiming it. It wasn’t a bad kickout at all.

Cluxton is amazing but has the aid of some of the greatest fielders ever. Kerry pressed up hard in the drawn game. He couldn’t find anyone within the 45 and seemed to panic so he just hoofed the ball on top of the midfielders. Luckily for him he plays with Brian Howard who just rose up and magically caught the 50/50 ball, if not kerry favoured. Nothing to do with Cluxton. Cluxton is shoo-in for All star, but no way FOTY
