It was intended to present the player of the year winners for the lower hurling tiers with their awards on stage on Friday night though it didnāt happen due to scheduling issues and they were subsequently handed out after the dinner late that night, long after the live TV show had ended.

The bit they showed was terrible, named the first 6 or 7 and then āwe also have players from Down, Derry and Kerryā. It would have taken maybe an extra 30 seconds to give them all a name check.
