it depends on late july/ early August onwards…
If Dowling starts v Clare he’ll be a contender again in my eyes, his long range free-taking and goal rate off 21s alone catch the eye.
Where do neutrals stand on Offaly’s chances v Waterford. They are priced at 7/4. Which seems keen based on their performance v KK. On the other hand they scored two goals at the start of that game and two at the end and only scored a handful of points in the intervening period while conceding 26 points, to a weakish KK outfit.
That said Waterford have chosen a goalkeeper who can’t deal with the high ball, so concession of soft goals is a real possibility.
i am having a punt on the following in the football.
carlow to beat laois (few of the laois lads gone to US)
Tipp to beat Galway (Bradshaw gone to US, no leaders on this team, there for the taking)
London to beat leitrim
Derry to beat Sligo
5e acum pays out 343 euro
Bit of word for Derry camogie v Clare @ 7/2
Is there a wedding on?
Seriously, that happened last year with Cork v Donegal ladies football.
Donegal B team got an awful hiding in the end.
Kilkenny have only produced 2 YHOTYs since 1996. The last was Cha in 2006. Not sure Buckley will get enough game time to be in the mix

Barry Grogan is out for Tipp
You might not see Buckley hurling again this year with Fennelly back from injury
Ah fuck, sent off was he?

I don’t see Offaly beating Waterford-if Waterford had scored some of those bad wides at the start of the 2nd half against Clare I think it could have been a different outcome and Clare are going to walk the AI this year. I think Waterford will win by 4 or 5 points.
I had a nibble on Waterford too. Offaly got a lot of lucky breaks against Kilkenny. Odds aren’t great though. Clare are evens -1 too. I think if Clare with this match, they will have a bit to spare. Not the thread for it but my third bet was agreeing with Anto’s recommendation that the Lions will cover the spread. Not especially confident about this one
Gone for a 4 timer of Waterford, Donegal, Leitrim and Clare at 6/1 with Ladbrokes this weekend.
A tenner on a draw between Clare and Cork also.

Fellas like u are a bookies dream!
Scratch that
Luke O’Farrell first goalscorer tomorrow @ 8/1.
Speculative 1 point trixie on London at 7/4, Offaly at 7/4 and Cork at 6/5. Expected Cork to be longer given how they’ve been written off everywhere.
Haven’t heard a team being dismissed in so many quarters in a good few years.
Derry lost by eleven points
13 points for Maurice tonight and he’ll get another rick of them against Westmeath. The 13/2 I got is beginning to look like value.
