A wheelbarrow would show more fight than most of the Douglas girls
They had neither of them the last night either. I think Colin will play
Draw absolutely fucked it
Thumbing home
Wheelbarrow for rent, good rate, please enquire
Vat lose by 4 after being up by 9 on 35 mins.
Only scored 0-2 in the last 25mins against the wind.
3 x Underdogs all good value in Clare in my opinion
Broadford 7/2 vs Inagh in a match Inagh have to win. O’Halloran not a great coach in my opinion - Broadford worth a shot
Wolfe Tones 11/4 vs Newmarket. Newmarket have to win to avoid relegation playoffs.
Feakle 7/2 vs Eire Og. Eire Og already through in that group annd prob satisfied with that and have a lot of dual players. Feakle through too but I’m sure would love a bit of momentum. Crazy price there.
Doing trixie too
I understand why. But the Well going off as slight underdogs Vs Ballybrown
If they can’t get up for that one they are fucked altogether.
Really?
There is no way on earth Inagh can lose this one.
Gillane is out with a broken bone in his hand.
The well were brutal v Doon.
Ballybrown opened 6/4 for it.
I know. And the well are poor this year and maybe the last few years. But they still have two hurlers of the year Vs their arch rivals. Even if they were completely useless those games take a life of their own. Ballybrown were probably value at 6/4 but the value is gone the other way now. Narrative has taken over vs the reality. It would still be a mild shock were the well to lose to Ballybrown. The gap is closing in Limerick, but when it matters I think there is still a gap.
Would be happy to be proven wrong though. The big 4 is boring. The well are definitely the most vulnerable of the 4 too. But I’d take odds against for the well all day
Patrickswell have lost seven of their last ten games in the Limerick championship. Their wins were a 19 point win over Mungret, a 2 point win over Ahane and a 2 point win over Monaleen. Patrick Kirby also has an injury. Interesting that all three Limerick journalists on Treaty Talk picked Ballybrown to win.
I dont think its fair to say that O’Halloran is a bad coach, his record with our minors the last 4 years suggest otherwise. I can understand the criticism if you think hes only able to work with minors, but I’d disagree. I find it hard to believe that he thinks McCarthy is their best 6 for one, and tbf thats why I dont hate Broadford as a bet on Sunday. If he’s left there I’d give Broadford a punchers chance.
I agree on Wolfe Tones vs NOF, 2 bad teams in a local derby with a lot on the line. I’d probably expect Newmarket to shade it because theyre a bit more genuine and gritty, but if Shanagher or Cunningham catch fire and they don’t give Newmarket goals, they will win. You can get WT on bet365 @ 3/1 fwiw
Feakle have been fairly poor so far, while Eire Og have been brilliant. They havent been challenged in either code so far and I’d expect that to continue. They’ve great depth, so even if they rest a few dual players, they wont be too much worse off. On the other side of the coin, Feakle were without Quilligan in goal and Martin Daly as a puckout option the last day. Their absence was sorely felt and they got very little out of their puckout, which is unusual for them. Quilligan wont be back, not sure about Daly, but I’d say they’ll hold him until the 1/4 final. Eire Og all day here.
If Crusheen had a better full back line I’d really like them against Clonlara in Tulla. They’re very game and work hard, and I’ll think theyll put a score up. Unfortunately they dont really have the men to mark Ian Galvin or Michelle Collins, but if they can hold them to 5 or 6 from play between them, they’ll give it a right rattle @ 4/1
I think Inamona are coping a small bit too much stick for the Clooney defeat. That is a fine clooney team and the standard and tempo of the match was as good as you will see at club level.
Inamona showed plenty of fight to come from behind to there lead in injury time and were unlucky to be chinned in the end. They have structural issues with Mccarthy at 6 and their midfield was poor the last day but they have more than enough to get over Broadford who are sticky but their full back line is weak enough.
A bit of value to be got in the Tipperary Championship I think:
Brackens 21/10 vs Loughmore. It’ll have to happen some day where Brackens beat them and the formlines at the moment suggest a bit of value here.
Clonoulty 6/4 against Toomevara. I don’t think Toome are all that good really; had an easy enough route to the final last year which probably inflated their standing.
Lorrha 9/2 against Drom. Gave Brackens enough of it the last day for 50 minutes; Drom are not the fastest team and the loser of this will more than likely face a relegation battle.
Moycarkey 6/4 vs Kilruane. Kilruane struggle to put performances back to back. Moycarkey should have shaken off the Mid Final hangover by now so I think they might have enough here.
I’m no betting man naturally but Rosenallis are 11/2 to beat Portarlington this weekend and that’s gotta be worth a sniff for ye degenerates. No way do Port deserve to be 10/1 on given their current make up. Unless they’ve a hape of lads back I don’t know about
Didn’t say he’s bad to be fair!
Just think he’s slightly overrated now
Small bit tonight
Mungret seem a tad big @ 11/4 tonight v Monaleen.
Monaleen the form team in that senior B but Adare were down a couple the first day afaik and D/A are struggling. Cian scully also came off during that game.
0.5pts
Castlebar 5/4 in mayo have been backed in from 7/4, they’ve 6 back from their first round loss to Belmullet. Breaffy have injuries to Matthew Ruane. 1pt.
I’ve also added in Mallow 5/4 in Cork v Newcestown
Only lost by 4 to Castlehaven the first day out. Newcestown potentially tired after a big effort v Midleton in the hurling last weekend.
I’ve went for a 0.3pts treble on the three above.
Not if Newcestown had gone up and down mount Everest during the week could you rely on mallow against em!
There should be a case study done on the amount of draws in mayo club football
