Few imports but in the end of the day they still couldn’t get out of Lory Meagher last year - fair enough they’ve been putting in serious effort in the Division 3 League and did beat Sligo but that’s a Sligo on the way backwards.
They were BAD against Mayo last week from my source and Armagh weren’t bad against Wicklow (I watched that one back).
In a sense I’m thinking if the match is a 50/50 (I’d have Armagh slight favs) I’d take the 6/4 on them all day.
Ye are right though, Armagh have slipped back slightly - they won’t be contenders at all in the Rackard and perhaps could be darkhorses to go down in that.
I suppose the reality is Wicklow are a genuine Christy Ring team - so price probably stems from that.
Roscommon are missing a bit of firepower this weekend that I know of which will hurt them and 11/2 is prob worth 0.5 points but I’d be hesitant to go any bigger than that.
In saying that; when 11/2 is on offer I know it’s very tempting and nothing wrong with taking that price.
Clare -7 at home to Wexford @10/11.
As strong as Clare team named as possible, I could see TK/Rodgers/David Fitz/Aidan Mc going to town here.
Also 0.5 pts -10 @15/8.
Roscommon hurlers @ 11/2 v Wicklow 1 pt
0.25 pt double on Ros + London.
Hard to see Wexford covering 20.5 points. An open shootout against Tipp in fine conditions only yielded 19. If Clare won the toss you could put life savings on Clare double result 8/13.
Limerick-4 at 11/10 for me. Lynch, English, Reidy and O Neill interchanging around the middle will destroy Kilkenny. I expect Hannon to lay down a marker and that full forward line could do wreck.
