GAA betting 2024/25

I suppose the value has already been found with London only down by a point midway thru the 2nd half

Happy to see them win but there day will come.

Jaysus you’d never back Waterford to beat anybody in the football. I’d say we have three wins in the league in the last 10 years.

4/1 to beat Tipp at home who they’ve a decent recent record against.

If you don’t stop backing tipp they’ll win the all Ireland :joy:

Three Roscommon two-pointers in the last five scupper this one. There should still be value in the team total overs where they have good scoring forwards, especially outside of Div 1

Division 2 in particular has been very high scoring.

Tis pure badness

Gotta go Armagh 6/4 away to Cavan in Division 3 Hurling

Armagh gave Wicklow a good game last week but fizzled out at end. Cavan are bad but planning for Lory Meagher and know their limits (not expecting to do anything other than be relegated).

Armagh have to win this one to have a chance of staying up. I think Armagh win this by 5+

Tipp 1/14 London 17/2 mmmm

Drew last year.
London beat Wicklow (who are decent) and have lost to Limerick & Wexford the two best teams in this division. Tipp are probably down Steven O Brien, if London can keep Sean O Connor quiet then this will be close I think.

I cannot resist a point to make back my previous losses.

This is fascinating to watch

You will lose your rep as a shrewd operator the way you are going.

Limerick bate them. And Limerick are poor

There’s no one here who needs to copy my workings, 17/2 in a two horse race. I’ve given other reasons above. It’s not like I’m charging for my musings on here.

Limerick pulled away late on v London, Limerick & Tipp is a coin toss game.

I’m only slagging. Your bets are top class. But the Tipp footballers have your brain addled. A cliff horse

I plan on getting into see them in the flesh for at least the second half of this Saturdays game.

The word on the street which has proved to be correct is Wexford are/were the best in D4. They’ve hammered everyone bar limerick. After that was meant to be Wicklow with Tipp/Limerick challenging. Wicklow losing to London was a turn up for that form line but enough of one to give them more than 17/2 chance.

I would always have Armagh as a stronger county in hurling than Cavan. when did that change?

I’m nearly sure Cavan have a good few imports that have moved into the county/parent rule whilst Armagh have went back the last couple of years.
