I also thought the Donegal v Derry game was very good as well.
There’s obvious bias- but it’s a bit like the Vietnam war, you weren’t there.
It was just out and out war for 70mins. No quarter asked, none given.
The drawn AL final had fantastic entertainment and 54 scores. But it was a ridiculously loose game riddled with maistakes all over the field.
Both Wexford and Clare games and also Wex v Waterford were great entertainment but lacked quality.

Didn’t see the Wexford-Clare matches so can’t comment but they sounded epic on Twitter. 
Despite the depressing dominance of the big three, the hurling championship was really good this year. Plenty of great matches. Lots of revisionist bullshit about the drawn final. It was one of the greatest matches of all-time, no doubt. What the fuck is wrong with people who can’ t see that?

It was an absolute cracker of a game. You couldn’t see better. There were about ten contenders for man of the match and all over the field two fellas marking each other both had great games eg callinan and JJ
Phenomenal scores, lead changing hands constantly, close all the way through, dramatic finish, 4 goals and about 5 clear missed goal chances.

The Donegal-Armagh and Monaghan-Kildare games were better than the drawn Kerry-Mayo game I felt. Both the aforementioned games were played in poor conditions as well, there was a great edge to the Donegal-Armagh game right from the first whistle and some absolutely magnificent scores taken with both defences well on top. The Monaghan and Kildare game was smashing as well, Corey’s goal was the score of the championship, Dessie Mone’s display was the performance of the Championship, outstanding scores and great comebacks mounted by both teams.
