I’m touching on 80 sessions/matches with a team this year and hopefully another few weeks to go.

Any club chairman signing off on giving more than 8 or 9 grand to an external coach would want their head examined. Considering that you could be paying up against a similar amount to some S&C “guru” and then 12 or 15 thousand on Physio bills, due diligence would want to be in place, as well as a sub committee to search for a coach who know what they are doing.

Pockets and pockets full of abuse.

You’d talking probably 3 hours minimum for each of those sessions.

2 hours for the session inc travel then 45mins/1hr planning and writing it up.
Plus add in all the over and back around selections, planning, video analysis etc during the week.

There’s coaches out there travelling 6 hour round trips to coach intermediate for the love of the game. You’ve it handy.

The Funding of senior club teams rarely go through the club books. Normally there will be a couple of business types raising money through local businesses and sponsorship. In Dublin it would cost a minimum of 40k to run a competitive senior club team. Clubs might contribute 10k of that themselves and the rest would be fundraising
