Na Fianna is my club not Na Piarsaigh
Maybe in larger clubs which are essentially medium sized enterprises but in rural clubs everything would be through the main account with fundraising being done through golf classics, Christmas raffles, club lotto etc.

No. Definitely not. Most lads live within 15 mins of where they train. It would be a spectacular waste of money

Fair enough. As far as i can see in dublin smaller and medium size clubds would often part finance senior teams outside club funds
Ya but youâd be enjoying it so much at this year id say.
Also the coaches who come in and immerse themselves in the club and get to know the players etc must enjoy it and not see it as a business transaction.
He probably has intermittent poster @Rintintin on the ticket in some vital roleâŠ.

Didnât Jack drop Marc? The OâSeâs must have some opinion of themselves.
He dropped Tomas in '09 for a game.
And also whipped him at HT in one of the Mayo finals when they were winning handy which was some flex from the Dromid man.
Fitzmaurice dropped Marc for the 2014 replay in Limerick but he got a repreive because of a red card. He also dropped him for the 2015 Final I think which was the first time in 40 years Kerry started an AI Final without an OâSe starting from Ventry.

Havenât read the articles - But what about Managers/Coaches on borders etc? Someone in Cloughjordan potentially couldnât coach in Offaly for example?
I would say, I think if in a world where ALL management/coaching was in-house, it would almost certainly level the playing field up within a few years. The âtopâ clubs in my opinion would slip back.
If the weather warning system - red, orange, yellow etc - can only operate on a county basis then Iâm afraid the GGA management carousel will need to follow suit.

Are they sent off to the John West factory to do a coaching course?

There is an onus on clubs to produce players but also develop coaches/managers.
