Gaa split season, killing Meath football since 2011

Rovers couldnt even sell out their European games last year. Dont know why they are extending Tallaght.

There has been plenty of sell outs this season

For Bohs only. Rest of the games have loads of empty seats.

Outstanding post. I’m sure you will adjust 3 to 2 in your Connacht Final hierarchy ratings as a matter of course

Stop that nonsense

Rovers only sell out v Bohs.

Sean Cavanagh talking sense here.

Where once there was hope for many counties know there is none.

Sad people are happy to watch our great games fizzle out.

I just can’t understand it.

Don’t remember the Championship structure in both codes ever being in such a sorry state of affairs. Boils down to semi final stages producing the goods or bust. Perhaps that was the case before too but the provincials at least mattered then. Also the gaps between big games added to the excitement. Nowadays you cant even watch half the games on TV, everything is done and dusted by Raceweek and the buzz is negligable.

It’s a slippery slope to oblivion all because a shower of Junior B mullockers thought they were Gods gift.
It’s all quite depressing to be honest about it.

Likes of Clare have always been hammered by Kerry. What is your solution?

Clare might have put up a bit more of a fight and a bit more of a crowd might have turned up if the game had been fixed for Ennis rather than Limerick.

You have no solution. All very sad as you say yourself.

Nasty post

Hego getting to play Junior B club football in Limerick is apparently one of the big upsides to the split season.
