GAA's The Toughest Trade

Has Chin experience on ice? The traffic jam against the wall when they open the gate at Limerick on ice is one of my comedy highlights of every Christmas.

What in the name of god are you going on about?

7up on Ice, Arthur’s Quay ffs sake. Are you gone that long?

He was saying in some interview before he left that he was getting into some ice-rink and learning the basics for the past couple of months.

It was the content in relation to the thread that has me puzzled - it’s like he just posted the first thing that popped into his head when he read ice-skating.

I’ve no idea. I suppose lads with good natural balance might be able move around a bit after a few days intensive training. But no way could he take contact, skate backwards or whatever. Big risk of injury too but I’m sure they wrapped him in cotton wool.

It quite possibly was. He does like to give that first-person perspective.

It’s like most of your posts, tries very hard and full of self importance.

doesn’t look to be much more than 130kg on that bar, there’s auld lads of 70 deep squatting that in my gym, but paddy mick from ballyshite is grate so he ,is because he (pretends) has to get up and go to work in the morning

What are you squatting these days, pal?

120 @5 x8 myself these days, I have gone a different direction now, away from heavy shit, I was walking around like a big pumped up ape there for a while, running is my life now

That’s still good squatting, mate… you need to keep the strength up for all that running.

Normally I would agree but I’m just highlighting the same twee point that you’re making.
