Galway - quadruple travails part 2

They should be going all out to win this for the extra break

They are but Comer might be out for the season and neither Kelly nor Finnerty have done any proper contact work since Derry. If they lose on Sunday they’d be gassed if they got beyond the prelim.

All the more reason so?

Roscommon, Cork or Monaghan at home the likely opposition for the losers on Sunday, nothing too frightening there. The problem is the quarter final would be much tougher, strong chance of getting Dublin or Kerry.

They were both carrying knocks before Derry, risked them and both pulled up late in the Derry match. Even the absolute dopes we have managing the team won’t be thick enough to do that twice in 3 games.

Those are all bruising opposition regardless of their ceiling, especially the Rossies

Is that for the Derry lad stamping on him?

Calm down.
Besides, he’s out with his hamstring

Sweep sweep

Same as that.

Therein lies the dilema. We saw what happened last year not winning the group so its massively important as you say.

Then theres also the theory its not a knockout game so why risk them if not fully fit which is the way I see PJ going as he’s fairly conservative and of course we could lose anyway regardless of who plays or doesn’t.

Group 3 = group of death

I enjoyed the Maroon and White podcast with Bellew recently. He didn’t hold back on Lynskey.

We’ll overlook these, for now at least.
