Galway - quadruple travails part 2

Hardly be the Craughwell Jamie Ryan would it? I don’t think it’s Cullinanne, Healy or Monaghan anyways.

I got blocked off twitter for suggesting he shave the oul straggly moustache

Think it is Niall Callanan from my fading encyclopaedic knowledge of Galway hurling!!

A great win for @mikehunt 's Loughrea over @peddlerscross Clarinbridge. Niland had a nightmare whereas Tiernan Killeen and Joe Mooney hardly put a foot wrong.

Gort bottling a certain win over St Toms was met with heartbreak in Field’s bar.

Is the draw this evening?

Already done.

Cappataggle v Killimordaly
Clarinbridge v Ardrahan
St Thomas’ v Craughwell
Castlegar v Kilconieron

Impressive stuff from Loughrea given their injuries.

Very. Niland had 7 or 8 woeful wides though and bridge smashed the post early on before the town onslaught.

The bridge are soft verdict from Kev Brady on Tuesday could finish their season.

Town took it handy today. Holding back for later on.

Craughwell are well capable of taking out St Thomas’s imo.

Tommy’s would have been gone

Tommys are too far on the slide maybe?

I’ll tell you what, it’s a really good format this. There’s very very few games that aren’t crucial enough

They have to be at this stage.

That was some bottle job by Gort today. FFS, talk about blowing it.

I was in Galway for 24hours over the weekend. Bradys word carries serious weight. It could give a team a huge boost or alternatively shatter fragile confidence.

He was dead right about who to trust going down the line between Gort and Thomas’s.

Gavin Lee looks very average in club games… today just being the latest game I’ve seen him below par. Eanna Ryan’s young lad looked lively but they really need the younger Niland to step up if they are to win a county title.

Loughrea and Turlough look to be the form teams.

Did they not say on the M+W pod that he is going for an operation on his hamstring. That’s a 6/7 month job.

His hammy was so fucked that he had to go to England for the operation apparently. Bridgeheads reckon it could be as serious as 12 months out.

Brady is the most box office GAA pundit in the game. I think he’s even rawer than James Skehill and definitely more cutting.

I think he could be an Eamon Dunphy type on the Sunday game if given the opportunity.

He has Turlock in his sights too.

His cousin Shocks bricking it every time he speaks for fear he’ll curse them.
