Galway - quadruple travails part 2

“Wall Street” Ian Burke back to his best. Shoulda had a goal though.

Dour affair?

A bitteen. Mountbellya flat footed but Corofin missing a lot of firepower.

Mountbellew get it done by a point

Poor enough game but Barry McHugh was excellent. Lads like John Daly and Patrick Kelly did fuckall surprisingly.

Corofin’s day is well over now though. They don’t really have the forwards coming through bar maybe Darragh Silke.

Football championship very competitive this year. First two senior quarter finals decided by one point today. Only one point in the first intermediate semi final as well.

Corofin put up a good fight considering the players they are missing. Although you’d expect that from them.

Ardrahan through after penalties.

I was checking for the score in that U-20’s final and the first thing I see is FOTF @peterswellman inviting some fat fella to a scrap. Galway underage club hurling is once again box office.

Tell @manoone to ask him about the tache

Mannoone1’s only right of reply is to co-host a Galway hurling podcast in 2023.

Conor Flaherty staking a claim for a place in the Galway forward line instead of in goal.

Mountbellew v Moycullen in the semi final!!

Two favourites draw each other in the semis.

Great opportunity for the other two. Annaghdown could find themselves in the final after requiring a 12 point win in their last group game to avoid being knocked out.

Salthill (presuming Rob Finnerty is fit) & Moycullen by a nose for me.

@KinvarasPassion i see Aaron Niland did untold against ye today. He seems to be the real deal.

Stick to the NFL, a maceen.

He’s the real deal alright. Seems to have it all. Should be a great final, Oranmore are a savage outfit by all accounts
