Port are having a year akin to your username. But no way they’ll bate Sars,
Thomas’s will have a bit too much for Cappy, but that will be the tie of the round.
Bridge are a better side than Tommy’s, but will only win it 4-6pts.
The Turlogheens will bate Loughrea by as much as they want.

They’d need everyone… How are injuries?

Joe has the bit between his teeth, they’ll give Sars plenty of it

He might, and in fairness, Port have found a couple of players to help him this year. But Sarsfield’s are quality and could well win a county title imo.

Cappy are due a bit of luck at some stage, who knows it could be this year. Still think Thomas’s will be too cute for them.

The four quarter-final ties in the Brooks Senior Hurling Championship have been fixed for the October Bank Holiday Weekend, with two games on Saturday in Kenny Park and two on Sunday in Duggan Park.

On Saturday week, Oct 29th in Kenny Park, Athenry its Tommie Larkins v Clarinbridge at 1pm, followed by St Thomas’ v Cappataggle at 2.45pm.

Then on Sunday, Oct 30th in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe its Sarsfields v Portumna at 12.15pm, followed by Loughrea v Turloughmore at 2pm.

Dunmore almost caught at the very end when a Conor Gleeson goalkeeping howler gifted Kilconly a goal.

Wouldn’t be like him…

Good to see Dunmore back senior

I’m sure I saw they won Minor A or were in the final as well recently, I’d say its a very long time since they were at that level. Hopefully in the near future Joyce will have someone better than Gleeson to put in the starting 15 for piseog reasons.

Haven’t been senior for 15 years I think. Have a pretty young team now bar Damien Reddington who scored the late winning goal in the 07 minor final against Derry.

Galways best minor forward this year was a Dunmore man as well, he will be a grand addition for them next year. Great to see them back, a good old fashioned club.

0-8 is an awful paltry score to win a county championship with, not that it’ll bother Dunmore.
