I’ve never understood this phrase. Why would anyone say boo to a ghost, surely the ghost would say boo to you.

You’d say boo to a ghost to try frighten them away. Any fella who wouldnt say boo to a ghosts was a right windy cunt who had nothing to him.

Did they wear the Ballygar jerseys or the S/K jerseys?

Tex had them looking resplendent in Saffron and Blue. The Yonkers lads refused to play against any other jersey than the sleeping giants of Junior A. That’s respect.
