Galway v Clare

How long will Clare need now before extra time starts?

Agreed fisty ball is so exciting compared to this

What’s the story with the panel and the suits? Are they sponsored to wear them? Never recall RTE being that flash .

I don’t think there’s much to get about aimlessly whacking a ball down the pitch.

No need to be so defensive.

Whacking the ball down the pitch has intent.

Probably. It’s a disgrace that a drawn All Ireland Hurling semi final after regulation time doesn’t get a replay. Is there a point scoring shoot out if level after extra time?

No it doesn’t, it’s aimless, hurlers play with their heads down.

It’s harder to keep possession in hurling than football

Clare have Galway rattled with this dressing room crack

they should throwaway the Hurleys and just handpass it around the pitch

There’s not much attempt made to keep possesion, they launch it up the pitch aimlessly as soon as they can.

Mexican standoff with the coming out for extra time. :grinning:

Yes it does, it gets you closer to the opposition goal.

Because trying to keep possession is much more risky and not that beneficial in hurling

How many of these players played in the 2011 All-Ireland minor semi-final which went to extra-time?

Galway’s superior strength ended up prevailing over Clare’s superior hurling that day.

I suspect the same may happen again.

Clare have been miles superior since the 20 minute mark.

But they’ve never led. If they could get a lead of a couple of points the psychological dynamic could change significantly.

A sport for idiots

There is none

Galway have backed down in the great tunnel stand off.

Ffs mate, you’re having conversation about hurling with a tyrone-Italian who never held a Hurley in his life
