He will be back
Richie Hogan: Kilkennyâs ultimate game manager
Richie had to be moulded into a Cody player... Cody put manners on him, says Adrian Ronan
He will be back
Is that one of those twee Christy OâConnor anecdote pieces?
Were Galway and Kilkenny people aware that they were planning on letting heifers out to graze on the pitch on Saturday before this replay was confirmed?
Disgraceful behaviour, lying straight out like that to a youngster.

Joe Canning is no longer a youngster.
Oh, you meant JJ Delaney.
Enda Mc getting the right to the root of what makes this KK engine tick
Any chance of a link to it?
There you go mate.
Richie had to be moulded into a Cody player... Cody put manners on him, says Adrian Ronan
The Galway manager admits there were afternoons in summers gone when he âcouldnât buy a performance.â
âThere is no point in being here if you donât believe you are good
enough to win the All-Ireland. If someone says at the start of the year,
âwhatâs your ambition?â For us, it is always the All-Ireland. So if you
are still in the competition on July 7, for me it is the same as
January 1. We had gone quite close. There was only three in it in the
62nd minute. So for usâŚthey are fine lines.
While these stats are interesting and no doubt are taken into consideration by Cody and the backroom team, this little clip of Cody talking about what he feels is most inportant I think is interesting. It gives a good insight into what he wants, especially from his half backs.
I didnât watch it, but I assume that spurrit is the big thing.
You should watch it, I was stunned. White boots and quare haircuts are the things that you need. Along with a phenomenal ability to big up the opposition.
Of course they werenât.
Not with the bookies, but plenty of pundits / âexpertsâ were tipping Cork.
Cork were bookiesâ favourites against Galway, as far as I recall.
They were 4/6 from what I recall
Agree. I remember saying it was madness at the time based on results this far in the championship. However, the forumâs premier analyst @bigmickmccarthy informed me that the sheer intensity of Corkâs game against the saviours of hurling was so far beyond anything Galway had shown that it overshadowed any other considerations, like how shite both Cork and Clare were, which I also pointed out.
Shush.
Cork were bookiesâ favourites against Galway, as far as I recall. @Mac please confirm.
