I know youā€™re a good GAA man

If Hogan thinks Jackie was the only one revelling in their loss heā€™s mistaken. Most GAA lads would only shout for Tipp if they were playing England

He was a big strong lad who specialised in batting the ball down to farragher in midfield. Good player. Wouldnt describe him as wrist either but @anon32894817 likes making pronouncements like that on players.

I was 14 when I saw him last play Iā€™m sorry for not being correct.

Donā€™t worry old chap.

You should be sorry for saying sorry.

I couldnā€™t agree more there Mixer

Farragher was a wristy hurlerā€¦Lee was decent enoughā€¦heā€™s a doc in Galway,he could ans a lot of questions for the lads over on the ā€œhigh ironā€ thread.thats what he specialised in

Farragher was one of the purest ball strikers in the last 20 years .

Padraic whiney Maher
Michael whiney Burke
Ken whiney Hogan

Or is this different?

Farragher was a lovely hurler, got a lot of unwarranted criticism I thought and was dropped too soon.

the brother was even better

I remember him nailing 3 sidelines in a league game at Nolan park a good few years ago when they experimented with two points for a cut over the bar. Galway beat the great KK on back of it. He had serious skills.

Farragher was an excellent stickman but he lacked the pace to be a top class inside forward and didnā€™t have the mobility/power for midfield. Was a bit if a gadget player. A good man to have midfield when on the front foot but disappears when the pace and physicality goes up.

Farragher looks like a fella who loves porter he probably doesnā€™t drink though

He was bald as an egg too. How could he be any good.

He does
