That team will not be beaten this year, Tipp nor Cark will get within six of that team. Subs like Flynn and Moloney up front too. Superbly balanced side with a classic spine of two burkes and Joe. Adrian Touhy will make mincemeat of the vastly overrated John McGrath too I forecast

Nicky English made a good point today in the Times that it was Tuohy going off injured that really did Galway last year. Coen went back corner back, strongest midfield in the game was severed and O’Dwyer most likely wouldn’t have got in for the crucial goal if Tuohy was still there to pick him up. Galway can’t afford any injuries in full back line tomorrow having lost Killeen already.

Safe travels to my Galway brethren on the road to Croke Park today. And likewise to the Tipp lads too. It’s important that we all get there safely, so at the very least we can hurl dog’s abuse at each other. I’ll be sparing a thought for the Galway diaspora, especially @anon7035031 and @maroonandwhite as the band plays Amhrán na bFhiann. As for the Tipp diaspora, I hope @Brimmer_Bradley continues on his road to recovery and gets a bit of colour onto those emaciated legs.

Shout out also to the Galway fans unable to travel for one reason or another, like @ChocolateMice. We’re going to do it for you cunts today!
