Galway

Saw some great bands there in early 2000s. Dinosaur Jr, Broken Social Scene and Lightning Bolt, which was the loudest gig I’ve ever been to. Place seemed like an utter shithole though

Oh he was. Half the job of the other bouncers was to keep an eye on gabby.
Then you had bernie Walsh God rest him, who wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Great memories. Last decent place for a night out in Salthill and it’s gone about 15 years or more.

Salthill is back with a bang, shiny new establishments opening there every week and an omiplex now too. I was there earlier tonight and the place was buzzing on a dank wednesday evening

Not a fat cat :rofl:but at the game alright…

Great to see Galway up in the big leagues with the likes of New Ross and Dunmore East

Clogherhead is in that list FFS

Nice for a day at the beach but not a place you’d fancy living in

Obviously none of these relocating Yanks will need gainful employment, public transport, etc.

They come for the culture and the beauty, you don’t see President Trump building golf courses in shitholes like dublin do you?

There’d be too many snowflakey protests. The God-fearin’, flag-wavin’ wilds of Clare are a better fit.

The yanks will feel right at home in sufers paradise Lahinch

We’re closer to Boston than Berlin
