A fucking cunthole if ever there was one, almost certainly my least favourite licensed premises that I’ve ever been in, and I’ve been in The Furry Bog in Whitechurch. It made cuntholes like the King’s Head seem like the Palace Bar by comparison.
In mind it was called 1690 both because of it being a cunthole and because I couldn’t remember the actual name of it, ever.
It’s called some other name now and I can’t remember what that name is either.

Fitzgerald’s and it’s still shite enough. Think I was in there after the Cork match in the summer and it was either underage Yanks or lads too ossified from drinking on the way back from Croker to get into Quays.
I think of the place like that post about Athlone some fella wrote 20 years ago thinks about Athlone.
