What is there to say about that?
Usually when we play terribly we say everyone did well except for someone and while we’d be damning of performance there is some explanation or cause or contributing factor.
Today laziness, lethargy, a bad attitude, ineptitude and cowardice were the primary traits we showed. A horrific 6-3 defeat.

For what’s it worth, I think we were outplayed by a better team on the night.
I also think we should try play a more expansive game like they played tonight. Have the players to do it.
I agree. I “discussed” this with Farmer and Monkey post-game - more of a monologue than a discussion. They weren’t afraid to play football. We stuck to a system that allows us to beat lesser teams but our defensive system didn’t work at all - they pulled it apart with absolute ease. And though we did cause them a good few problems we never kept the ball the way they did. Using possession as a form of defence needs to be employed.
Patience. Give me some of that sweet patience lord. I think we need to be far more patient on the ball. Keep it. Pass it. Nothing wrong with sideways and back. We are disgustingly predictable and when it doesn’t work out for us we haven’t a breeze what to do. I think we should discuss this over a few creamy pints of Guinness in the 51 tomorrow night. I’ll bring salt shakers, a whiteboard, markers, hand puppets and the condom that’s been in my wallet for 6 months. I’ll probably just bring the whole wallet actually.

IPI drew so we are 3 points ahead of them. Think next closest is the crowd that beat us last night a further three behind.
Mespil (who drew with IPI last night) are also in contention. They have a couple of games in hand and would be between IPI and Back of the Internet if they won both those (which will 99% sure be the case).
