your thoughts on Heffernanâs chances?
Iâd expect him to just about get in. The FG candidates could suffer slightly from there being so many of them and the fact that non Fine Gael supporters would be reluctant to give all three 1st preferences to the FG candidates, and he is the only realistic alternative.
Heffernan is a well educated man and has a degree in politics, why would the peole of this country do something as intelligent as vote him in?
Pretty much a bull shit degree which is good for nothing only talking shite over coffee or a pint.
Ah I know that but the problem is a lot of people in this country would vote for the fella seving the pint just because he is a decent sort and as we know all publicans are stand up lads.
I wish you all a free and fair election. Long live democracy.

Anyone else set their alarm for this exit poll?
No overall majority from exit poll for FG thank fuck.
FG 36 odd
Lab 20 odd
FF 15 odd
SF 10 odd
Green 3 odd
Indies 15 odd
Results in Dublin are interesting. FF only have 8% in Dublin.
FG will be disappointed with that. Talk of overall majority is what scared voters off but in reality with no poll conducted after Endaâs appalling appearances at the debate and again on six one would surely have lost them a point or two. SF canât be pleased too though breakdown will be key obviously. Labourâs 20.5 is good for them considering latest polls
Guy from MBrown gives this as an estimate of seat breakdown
fg 73
lab 38
ind 20
ff 20
sf 15
greens 1
overestimating sf a bit imo though they could be more transfer friendly than previously.
double post
TFK Exclusive: early tallies are not favourable for Eamon Ryan in Dublin South. Not many number 1s going his way so far.
Hows Shane Ross going?
