Thatās the whole point of Kenny though. He was supposed to be a completely blank slate, like Cameron or Miliband was in the UK. The strategy is that a leaderās personality is a problem, regardless of what that personality is. Worked for FG to a point but they need some charisma now.
You may have a point there, regardless he was always going to be Taoiseach. FG front benchers obviously were thinking something similar when they tried to get rid.
They have a lot of very capable politicians, but Kenny is by far and away the weakest, and I reckon the electorate do look at that.
