Delighted⌠We put in a huge effort, particularly myself here in Rochestown, traditionally a FF/FG stronghold.
Blueshirts pronouncing others about suckling at HMs tit. Well Iâve heard it all now
You played your part, pal - a great victory for the people.
Chaps, has Mick Wallaceâs surplus been distributed in Wexford yet?
Defeated FG candidate from Tipperary Noel Coonan had the following to say after his elimination today,
ââ Noel Coonan has said that he is looking forward to doing the things he has been unable to do for the last 25 years as a public representative.
An emotional Coonan gave a wide ranging interview to The Tipperary Star ( see next weeks issue) and offered this advice to Enda Kenny and Fine Gael.
âIf I were advising Fine Gael I would say to them stay out of Government, let those people who have promised you so much, who did all the complaining and frightening and scaremongering people - let them go into government. Let them address the issues, let them continue to rebuild the economy, let them continue to create the employment that we have been creating. I would say to FG stand back, we have lost our mandate. The others have been given a mandate, see how they will government. I think one term in government would be an ideal dose of medicine for them. I would be really worried about what would happen the country if that were to happen though,â he said. ââ
Is there not a recount starting there tomorrow?
Change the record Art. SF are in partnership with the DUP up North.
Yes I believe so, but on Count 13, Wallace went 1500 odd over the quota.
That doesnât appear to have been distributed.
Funny seeing the blueshirts touting AAA doing well as a good thing
There will surely be a lot more masses if FF get back in.
Some quality name-calling between Timmy Dooley and Peader Tobin (I think) on the radio there. Cutting strips off each other.
And that, is great statesmanship all round (bear the gurning weasel in the background).
The strangest thing about that picture is that the queen and Martin McGuinness look genuinely pleased to see each other.
Huge victory for SF over FG there in Fingal.
Bad day for Father Jack.
Bad day for Father Fintan Stack.
Heâs lost his seat.
Simon Coveneys little lad here is a grand chap.
Fingal send the blueshirts packing
OâLaoighre is a midget
They do in their hole.
Martin looks like he has been dreading the moment and has a deer in the headlights look. Sheâs more composed, but her sentiment looks far from genuine.
I imagine they both washed their respective hands after.
Is the ginger shinner lad in Cork religious?
