Chaps, what do you make of this statement from Micheál Martin? David Davin-Power reckons FF don’t want to go into government but will support a minority government in opposition on the basis of getting Dáil reform. These two traditional centre-right parties seem to want it both ways - less than 50% of the vote between them but want to control both sides of the house.

Michael Martin, what a strategist

Yeah that wouldn’t strike me as a fundamental change. It would seem to me that the changes they are requesting are designed to give them the opportunity to filibuster bills and to delay the enactment of legislation ad infinitum. In other words to allow FF blackguard the government at every turn. In the guise of reform of course.

FG should call the bluff of the others and offer a national government and invite FF, SF, Labour and SD to join it with AAA PBP as the opposition to everything party and Danny Healy Rae as Ceann Comhairle

The more things change the more they stay the same. One shower of gombeen cunts in power with the other shower in opposition, same as it ever was. Every so often it gets reversed and people expect change? Nothing will change until FF and FG are forced to combine and a credible center left party emerges. Long wait I’d say.

The neck on Martin and FF asking for regulation, the useless cunts wouldn’t exist if there had been any.

Time to rejoin the UK and let Lizzy and Cameron sort our shit out.

it would the best thing that ever happened, the Irish have made a total hames of the place since the British left, we never had a good period of economic stability apart from the very start of the tiger around 98-2000, fucking gombeens in the dail roaring at each for 80 years achieving fuckall

He might be the only true Statesman left in the country. He’s played a blinder over the last few weeks. Making an awful ape of Kenny now with this move…

It’s genuinely quite amusing to see just how quickly Fianna Fail have clicked right back into cute hoorism mode. It’s like they never went away.

Tipp are universally despised you fuck-wit. Do you really think that people around the country look up to Tipp? A county of backward simpletons who elect absolute cunts like Mattie McGrath and Alan Kelly as recently as in the past few days. Not to mention Tom Hayes another uber cunt just missing out on re-election. And then you have Lowry topping the poll. A man who cost the state, cost honest tax payers like me and the hundreds and thousands more like me, €100 million on a tribunal to investigate his term as communications minister and his tax returns. €100 million if you don’t mind. And the tribunal judge’s findings were that he was “profundly corrupt”. So as if the cost wasn’t enough you have the judges ruling and still the good people of “Tipp” elect this piece of shit to the top of the poll.

So in case i haven’t made myself clear. No, Tipp is in no way respected by anyone else around the country. In fact it is looked upon with the utter disdain that it deserves.

Was discussing the election with a Tipp lad today and Matty came up in conversation. Your man claimed that Matty and his young lad beat the shit out of some fella in a car park in Clonmel around a year ago, for bad mouthing Matty. Assault charges brought but thrown out of court. Some fuckin gangster.

You’re like Sandie Shaw, mate - dancing like a puppet on a string to my tune.

More arseholistic, I think.

You said “could only dream of winning as much/being as popular as Tipp”. In essence you are saying people respect Tipp. Which is totally and utterly deluded and false.
