Well the article says 13% of that 60% were part-time so that’s def a factor. I’d presume some was also based on pay. Other things like opportunity, increased tax etc also came into it too. There’s also a base level of migration (students etc) - the CSO shows about 25-50k emigrating per year in the celtic tiger years and then between 60-80 emigrating per year at the height of the crisis.

Not sure. I’m also unsure why every post you have on the matter is completely negative either. Paddy limerick is obviously full of self loathing. I’d recommend an intensive spell living in Cork. That’ll readjust your self esteem.
