General Election 2020 Hub

Eoin O’Broin has ridiculously strong glasses.

Couldn’t vote for either. I was just willing the roof of the studio to fall in on all 3.

Maybe I’m wrong but I just feel that Pearse tends to get very excited and that Donegal twang isn’t a good sound then.

Ó Brion is very measured and speaks really well. I think he has a personality which would draw in the floating vote.

But then again their base is very weak nationally still. I mean to say like, this chap lost his Council seat but is deemed a fit for the Dail.

There seems to be a dirty undercurrent at Local level which Mary Lou hasn’t tackled. Seamie Morris would have been seen as a good SF candidate but he’s long gone.

Why? He’s a speccy leftie, so what? Mary Lou is the one supposed to appeal to the middle class.

Is that the Tipp SF chap? Who is he/where is he from?

Cashel. Lost his Council seat in Local Election while his running mate in Tipp Town got last seat.

In this day & age optics matter.

Gives him DeValera-like gravitas

Sure if SF get in you’ll have a direct link to the Columbians

I’m up for that !

Funny that even though he focused his politics on culture and nationalism, Dev was a mathematician. O’Broin has a degree in some fluffy shite.

I think it’s very arrogant and undemocratic of both those 2 tonite to rule out a partnership with SF. If that’s how the electorate vote they should get on with it and respect the will of the people

MDMA is class but you should only really do it once every few months.
Edit: far milder than alcohol

Free Ecstacy for all would be a great vote winner and cure 90% of the nations problems in one fell swoop

It would cure all gang-related crime and all drink-related crime, so the only crime left would be traveller-related crime basically.

It would cure everyones depression with heartfelt hugs

Watching the two boyos cosying up to one another was sickening. I just turned it off.
