Twould want to be brisk. There’ll be no one voting in the afternoon I’d say. If the young people have turned out though all bets are off

What need?
I went for a run around the Dublin Bay North constituency at 10.30 or so. There were considerably more people milling around the polling stations than I’ve ever seen on Election Day. There was complete gridlock at the national school beside Parnell Park. Turn out will be around the 65% mark according to my model.
I predict a 67.4% turnout.
