Geoghegan needs to stay ahead of Cummins and they’ll probably sneak it. There’ll be enough West Waterford votes swimming around late in the game. It’s a salutary warning though of the perils of discarding two political colossus of the calibre of Paudie Coffey and John Deasy. I’d suspect a lot of West Waterford boxes not opened yet.

I said SF would get 34 but was not bold enough in my predictions. Should have anticipated there would be seats in Galway West and Clare based on national swings.
