Cork NW…they ran no candidate…

An Aontu candidate has 8.5% with absolutely no profile, no experience and no support to speak of. Long term must be a target for SF. Ballincollig has a huge urban population and the 4 fellas battling it out are all (v) rural candidates

A 32 county Ireland has never been further away.

Unheralded. Rathdown was until now the only constituency in Ireland without a FF TD.

Eoghan Murphy has silenced the doubters like me. It would be a sensation if Jim O’Callaghan lost.

John Curran was shorter in the betting for Dublin Mid-West than Eoin O’Broin - 1/40 v 1/25.

If Sinn Fein had ran 80 candidates they’d be leading a government

And there lies the answer to so many questions

Jim O’Callaghan has never been a big vote getter.

His blueshirt posters were great Bantz

John Curran was anti-choice. His running mate Caitriona McClean wrote some bizarre letters to newspapers around January 2018 asking why an exception to the 8th Amendment couldn’t be made for rape victims. She’s tallying 720 votes.

I correctly said that being anti-choice would be electoral poison and so it is proving.

This could be a disaster for SF, they’ll get into government if this keeps up

Disagree. Looking a lot worse for FG a week ago.

Ultimately it’s FF getting squeezed in the long run by SF on one side and FG on the other.
