I see FG have put that eejit Michelle Mulherin up again to take Enda’s seat. Couldn’t see McHugh getting in. Big Fine Gael vote there and two fairly high profile Fianna Fail there in Calleary and Chambers
Would Michael Ring be a candidate for most first preference votes in the country with Enda departing?
She’d definitely earn it but she will get a decent vote from those who object to FF and FG and may end up battling for the last seat.
This is going to be an election to remember imho. Rural Ireland is going to be a serious battle ground and Green Politics is on the up. In other locations though you’ll have a turnout to suppress them and avoid the Eamon Ryan ideals of 1 car for a village nonsense.
Dont think rural ireland be voting for the greens with all their taxes. Farmers will be FF this time around .
There is more to rural Ireland than farmers
What have Fine Gael done to upset the 18-24 demographic in the past 2-3 weeks?
Rural pubs ?
The vast majority of people in rural Ireland aren’t farmers mate
Very doubtful. He’ll have to manage the vote as he’s the senior man. MHR the likely man again unless they go for the 3 seats which is a good trick but difficult to pull off.
The SF seat there, Ferris’ is very much in play you’d imagine.
are farmers thick?
FFs line up of potential ministers
Richard O’Donoghue might cause an upset. If Jerome Scanlan went for it he’d walk it.
A lot of that age demographic will not vote FG after the RIC commemoration gaf I would think. They are easily swayed and wont forget the recent twitter upheval. What harm it will do though I dont know.
You could have just left it at that mate
18-24 year olds getting hot and bothered over an RIC commemoration and the resultant Twitter upheaval. I’ve heard it all.
Sinn Fein releasing their housing policy today, written by Hans Christian Andersen.
Fine Gaels was written with the blood of homeless people
He wrote an autobiography of Martina Anderson too I believe?
No votes to be won from the majority of homeless people, which is the sad thing
