Projection as of 2:55pm. A lot has to go right for FG to be the largest party but it is on, we’re almost in a triple dead heat on seat numbers, SF will probably be third because of lack of candidates.

@chocolatemice called it from the off… He knew. He knew once FG came out from behind Brexit they were on trouble. He knew full employment is a empty stat for most people.

Great work pal

Although transfers can be very unpredictable its looking like O Cuiv and Grealish, Mairéad Farrell, Catherine Connolly and Hildagaarde looking like 5 for Galway West. My disappointment at Grealish getting back in is trumped by the lection of my beloved Mairéad

That’s just fishing for easy likes

IMO, the idea that SF will end up as the junior party in a coalition just because they ran too few candidates, de-selecting them right until the end, is just ridiculous. How can HQ stand over that? They need to get the fuck out of the way, tell FFG to put their money where their mouth has been throughout this GE and maybe by the end of the year SF could end up as the biggest party in the country for seats.

I think our man is going to come up just short.

Think Limerick v Kk 2014 heartbreak.

Can we have left government?

Left overs?

Count not expected until 6pm now.

ROD ROD ROD

It is. That’s the message loud and clear from this election and has been apparent since the start of the campaign that it’s time for IRA/SF to go into government.

They will

The people have spoken and want SF in government. Perhaps FF could put them in with a supply and confidence agreement.

Ecstatic, I’d be, I’ve voted for Malcolm Noonan in every election he’s run in.
Dislodging Bobby Aylward - more than bonus

I was just thinking of how Eoghan Harris will now be writing about how SF need to get into government quick with FF. He’ll be saying this because he knows if they don’t they’ll end up the biggest party within a year or two. And I was thinking “this is what victory looks like”.

This is actually insane, SF had what a single seat around the time of the GFA?

Proud to be Irish today. When all the world around is has been lurching ever increasingly to the far right, Ireland said NO and instead takes a dandy sidestep to the centre left.
The people have spoken and it’s beautiful to behold

All is change changed utterly, an emerald beauty is born

Brown trousers time for FF in Galway East. They don’t have a quota between the two candidates
