Yeah, it is always expected he would get in. Wynne looked dicey as she got little transfers from FG/FF while McNamara has been transfer friendly throughout

They only had 26.5% of the vote. You’d be doing well to get two seats out of that in such a fractured field.
They could have given themselves a better chance though
No poll topper since November 1982 has failed to be elected. SF could make history in Clare if this goes wrong.
