Interesting analysis of FF’s health policy. Basically the money required to implement it isn’t there so it’s waffle. Anyone who believes that there will be a step-change in performance of the health service under a FF government is deluding themselves.

All parties make overly-ambitious and unachievable promises because voters expect it. Voters know deep down these promises will not be delivered but then make out they’ve been betrayed when the inevitable happens.
The behaviour of voters is at the core of most of our political issues - the parties just play the game
