All comes down now toCavan Monaghan Aontuâs Sarah OâReillys distribution of 5,745 votes. Unlikely that her FG name sake TP OâReilly will get the cira 3000 votes read to keep him above the FFers.
That will give FF 2 in CM. 1 in Wickla and 1 in Sligo Leitrim to get them to 38 and âwinâ by 1.
Thereâs an extra FF distribution to come which means itâs pretty much certain FF will get two seats.
Thomas Walshs (FG) is also being eliminated on this count along with the surplus which should see his FG mate Feighan elected
Correct. Mary Lou & Co know this and all the noises about ringing other groups & Independents is a smart move.
If they ignore her advances she can proudly claim that SF did all they could to form a Coalition government.
She can rightly ( or wrongly ) run an election on the Stance that SF alone can govern but they would need more support. It could actually work.
When will covney come for leo with the long dagger
that will properly sicken you.
Funny that Sid aka @Dziekanowski lectured us that âanti abortion oddballsâ would suffer by losing their Dail seats like Jack Chambers, Peader Toibin, Mattie McGrath and these sorts but heâs read the tea leaves wrong and not for the first time as these people are all re-elected while the biggest cheerleaders for pro-abortion have been electorally aborted themselves - Ruth Coppinger, Katherine Zappone, Kate OâConnell, Regina Doherty, Catherine Noone.
They are in touching distance of power. Another election is risky. Nobody knows how it would go for sure. The public can punish politicians who ignore them and delay solving their issues
âSidâ? Is this your alter ego? Are you hallucinating?
Matthews has it according to my sources
Sidney hiding behind his internet balaclava but itâs starting to slip .
Anybody who hasnât got a balaclava on today is a nobody.
Onus is on IRA/SF and FF to form a stable government now. Greens will probably jump in too. Theyâre a harmless, agreeable enough lot.
Will you repeat that another 50 times tan boy?
So Donnelly to miss out?
That would be epic
Doyle
Eamon wouldnât be tweeting this if he didnât know the result.
Jack Chambers getting in ahead of Coppinger was a particular campaign highlight.
