It will be the same as DART Underground.

DART Underground was included in FF’s manifesto but really just “advancing” the work to the point of putting the shovel in the ground. The Greens like the sound of public transport so will go for it as well. FG don’t think the money is there for it so go along with it as they know it won’t be build.

Same for the motorway.

They said they have no plans to stop it but nobody is planning for this to be built in the next 5 years

from now on for every euro spent on roads two will be spent on public transport so when that road is built you will have better public transport option

From the appearances on tv over the last couple of weeks it’s increasingly clear that Ossian Smyth manages to talk himself into trouble quite quickly.

The most sense is either a train or motorway and either closing or greatly reducing activity in one of the airports. Preferably Cork.

Focused regional investment rather than trying to do everything.

If this motorway was built I would go to Kerry more often. It’s a fine drive until you get to Limerick.

I think there are on average 120 major collisions on it per year … not to mind a few lucky escapes … how much does that all cost between ambulance/guards/ fire brigade and everything else - not to mention people’s lives.
