I see SF have nominated that loon Patches O’Holohan for Mayor of South Dublin. They suspended him from the party not so long ago. Bizarre

Interestingly we can now move on to Taoiseach’s nominees to the Seanad. Probably a 4 4 2 arrangement with the 11th nomination an agreed figure from Northern Ireland.
There’s endless possibilities here, will Champ throw Timmy Dooley a lifebelt, will Leo do likewise with Regina Doherty, will it be seen as a stomping ground for fresh young brains or will we revert to type, a kind of “Fair Deal” arrangement for a scatter of coffin-dodgers…

Mercifully Ross and the Zapper can be discounted.
