General Election 2020 Part 2

Organising and administering the annual Church gate collection takes on greater importance when you’re in Government. It’s always good to have a wee announcement that benefits the locality the week before, be it roadworks or whatever plays best.

He’ll pick up these small nuances quickly though, particularly if a certain % of said collection is used locally on administrative programmes. :pint: :pint:

Thanks mate

lets hope we get things done

A fucking shambles.

One party with a leader quoting smash hits for bets.

One party that blind and hungry to get back into power they will sign their own death warrant.

One looney looney group hoping growing Acer Negundo Flamingo Japonica’s will save us.

God help us.

Can you expand on this mate? I’m not actually sure if you’re taking the piss. If it is real, why would you have such anger towards them. Honestly…

Really? How many of the the green party of that era are still involved? Ryan and nobody else? Cuffe is in Europe. Gormley and Sargent are long gong. They are idealistic newbies(except for ryan) with a vicious sense of entitlement. One thing they are not, is savvy political operators. I wish them well, I really do. But in reality they are walking into the unknown.*

We’ve had years of Leo representing us with style and class on the international stage. Nothing lasts forever. Eamon and Michaels time to shine.

Comrade O Broin on now

What’s this? A prayer in this day and age.

Norma Foley quoting Shakespeare here. Little did Shakespeare imagine that his words would have rung out in a dail being held in the Convention centre 400 years later, says Norma.

On behalf of the Bard, I can confirm it never even crossed his mind.

Mary Lou our from under the bed here

Is Leo not going to be involved with the government or something?

A good speech by Ryan - but a ridiculous suit.

Vaguely reminiscent here of the last days of a blockbuster film run in the Savoy 1
