Well you took the words right out of my mouth

Never a more apt day for this.

Rastool twitter is losing its mind today. An awful lot of them seem to be young wans who support cellic.

93-63. A thumping win for Champ. How did it take 20 weeks to get this done with such a popular choice?

Was Sean Canney the only Member of Parliament to move from the government benches to the opposition?

Rastool seltick fans with little Palestinian flegs in their avatars screaming about change when theyā€™d have given their left nut to go in with FF or FG 6 months ago.

MicheĆ”l Martin uses the word ā€œfundamentallyā€ very frequently .

At this stage they need to ā€œchangeā€ the record .

A lot of them seem to have trouble with the idea that getting 24% of the vote is not winning the election

You really have to hand in to the Shinner leadership that they have these guys still thinking that they wanted to be in power

The party that got the majority of votes isnā€™t in government.

A majority is over 50%

They seem to struggle with the concept of proportional representation as well, judging by their candidate selection policy for the General Election. Probably does take a while though to get up to speed and make the transition from gun running, murder, terrorism and abstention to electoral politics.

Most SF voters are thick as pigshit and the leadership know it.

In 1982 FF under CJH got 45% of the vote but Garrett became Taoiseach .

Surprisingly classist comment from you

They didnā€™t get the majority of votes, they got the most votes. The party with the most votes hasnā€™t been in government numerous times in the history of the state

I love the ones going on about Martin being elected on the 6th count. Ask them how MLMD would have got on if Pearse Doherty shared her constituency.
